Engineering Manager

Position Title:
Engineering Manager

Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for overall quality, efficiency and organization of the Engineering Department.
Supervision of engineering personnel, hiring, reviews and training
Oversees corporate technology blueprint for emerging technologies and continuous technological improvements.
Works closely with customers to insure quality standards are met.
Interfaces with manufacturing and quality team to analyze and improve product quality by implementing process improvements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Understand customers' technical expectations and ensure company has process, tools and training to meet expectations.
Responsible for implementing and reinforcement of Corporate values and goals.
Evaluates the manufacturing process and provides direction for improvements.
Provides input into all business opportunities, quotations, customer manufacturing agreements and order acceptance for the company.
Reviews new process and equipment recommendations.
Develops departmental goals and objectives to be inline with the company's strategic planning.
Responsible for reviewing SOP's for manufacturing, engineering and equipment maintenance.
Provides suggestions for implementation of cost controls and improvements.
Skills and Attributes:
Technical expertise in the manufacturing processes and engineering of printed circuit board assemblies and systems integration.
Able to review assemblies for Design for Manufacturability and make design change recommendations to customers
Understanding of IPC-610, ISO 9000/2000 and Engineering Specifications.
Hands on approach to problem solving
Experience Requirement:
5-10 years surface mount technology manufacturing experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
3+ years management experience
BS Degree in engineering

Documentation Control Coordinator

Position Title:
Documentation Control Coordinator
Department:
Quality
Reports to:
Quality Manager
Overall Responsibility:
Maintain all changes to ZF Quality Manual
Organize and update Company Standard Operating Procedures
Organize and update Company Work Instructions
Organize and control QMS Forms
Organize and update customer Documentation (i.e. AVL, Drawings)
Accurately record and maintain corporate revision controls
Over all control of QMS documents in Master list
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Working with Quality Manager to maintain documentation accuracy and latest revisions. Communicate with Program Managers regarding customer documentation revision level changes.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent Communication skills
Proficient Computer skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision
ISO Internal Audit activity experience a plus
BS degree or equivalent
Experience Requirement:
2 years working in document control with ISO 9001:2008 registered company.

Radio Frequency/Electronic Test Technician

Position Title:
Radio Frequency/Electronic Test Technician
Department:
Test
Reports to:
Manufacturing Manager
Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for the daily testing and troubleshooting of SMT and through hold RF PCB's.
Ability to troubleshoot to component level utilizing schematics and blueprints.
Basic test tools, o-scope, measurement devices, ATE Genrad 2286. Good communication skills, able to read detailed procedures and knowledge of IPC 610.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Testing of printed circuit boards utilizing both Genrad 2286 in-circuit tester and customer supplied functional test systems.
Strong Radio Frequency technology a must.
Skills and Attributes:
Basic surface mount and through hole PCB troubleshooting to component level. Use of Genrad 2286 test equipment and basic test tools.
Experience Requirement:
3-5 years experience in a fast paced contract manufacturing environment.
AA in electronics or equivalent
